The AISIC consortium exists precisely to slow things down enough to get safety right.
Booz Allen CEO Horacio Rozanski has framed AI as a modern "Arsenal of Democracy," arguing rapid adoption is needed to counter near-peer rivals. But the tension remains: OpenAI moves at startup speed, while national security missions demand near-zero error rates.
