Naughty Dog announces two new projects expanding The Last of Us universe.

Naughty Dog is developing two new projects set in The Last of Us universe, studio head Neil Druckmann announced for The Last of Us Day 2026. Both are in very early stages and will expand the series’ canon beyond Part I and Part II, though the studio has not said whether they are games. Druckmann said Naughty Dog would return to the world only if it had meaningful stories to tell. The studio’s next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, is also in development and is expected to receive a full reveal in 2027; Naughty Dog plans to remain quiet about it for the rest of 2026.
