Mastercard Announces Major Leadership Reshuffle, Appointing New CFO and CBO for 2026

Mastercard announced a management reshuffle in which Ling Hai, currently president overseeing Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will succeed Sachin Mehra as chief financial officer, with the transition taking effect August 3. Mehra will move into a newly created chief business officer role responsible for global country operations and for functions including sales enablement, global partnerships, and digital commercialization. The company also named Linda Kirkpatrick as chief services officer, Dimi Dosis as chief commercial payments officer, and reallocated prior leadership roles including Craig Vosburg’s move to vice chair and global ambassador. Mastercard said the changes are designed to sharpen customer focus, streamline operations, and improve execution as competition and innovation accelerate in digital payments. Mastercard’s shares fell about 2.6% to $482.41 following the announcement.
Mastercard said Dimi Dosis will succeed Raj Seshadri as chief commercial payments officer, and Seshadri will become a senior strategic adviser to CEO Michael Miebach.
Sachin Mehra has served as Mastercard’s CFO since April 2019, before transitioning to the newly created Chief Business Officer role.
The company described the reorganization as bringing customer focus under a unified structure to strengthen “support, coordination, and accountability across markets worldwide,” and to better integrate customer insights into product and service development.
Linda Kirkpatrick’s promotion to chief services officer was also framed as succeeding Craig Vosburg, who had held the chief services post since May 2024 before moving to vice chair and global ambassador.
Mastercard specified that the leadership changes will take effect on August 3, 2026.
