Sarnia seeks public name suggestions for new Kathleen Avenue affordable housing project

A new $16.5-million affordable housing building in Sarnia, Lambton County, is seeking a name for a new 50-apartment affordable housing project on Kathleen Avenue, set to welcome tenants in November. The $16-million project is nearly completed and is expected to begin welcoming tenants this year. The public is being asked for names with historical significance or direct connections to the area. Submissions will be accepted until noon Oct. 18 and the winner will be announced at the building's official opening. Submission forms are available on the county website and the Lambton Shared Services Centre in downtown Sarna.
