Two Door Cinema Club Announce 2027 UK & Ireland Arena Tour, Playing Tourist History in Full

Fan presales for the UK & Ireland arena tour begin on July 1 at 9am BST, with general tickets going on sale on July 3.
In addition to the five UK/Ireland dates, the band has a North American leg that includes a headline Madison Square Garden show on September 27, with further dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan, plus additional European shows slated for January and February next year.
The tour will feature a Tourist History in full performance, anchored by era-defining tracks such as 'What You Know', 'Something Good Can Work', 'Undercover Martyn' and 'I Can Talk'.
The band's summer activities ahead of the January arena run included major outdoor appearances at Kendal Calling and Y Not? Festival, underscoring a high-profile return to the live circuit.
The tour was teased in advance by their TRNSMT Glasgow performance on June 21, which hinted at a larger 2027 plan before the official announcement.
Two Door Cinema Club has announced its first UK and Ireland headline arena tour in over seven years. The five-date January 2027 run will celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut album *Tourist History*, with the band performing it in full alongside a career-spanning set of hits. Clash Music reported the announcement on June 29, 2026.
Tickets go on presale on July 1 at 9am BST, with general sale opening July 3. The tour hits Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London, wrapping up at The O2 on January 28, 2027.
The tour opens at Dublin's 3Arena on January 23, 2027, then moves to Belfast's SSE Arena on January 24. The band heads to Glasgow's OVO Hydro on January 26, Manchester's AO Arena on January 27, and closes at London's The O2 on January 28. Manchester Wire noted this marks the band's biggest domestic run since the early 2010s.
The Royston Club will support in Dublin and Belfast. Circa Waves and Arkayla join the bill for the three UK dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London. The five venues hold a combined capacity of over 75,000 fans, according to the live research briefing.
*Tourist History* came out in February 2010. It produced three era-defining singles: 'What You Know', 'Undercover Martyn' and 'Something Good Can Work'. Live4ever reported that the band will play the album in full at every date, a format that has proven a powerful draw for indie acts celebrating major anniversaries.
The band has released four more Top 10 albums since then — *Beacon*, *Gameshow*, *False Alarm* and *Keep On Smiling*. They ran a 30-date US amphitheater tour in 2024, showing sustained global demand. Critics have noted that Two Door Cinema Club is one of the few bands from the late-2000s indie boom to grow into a genuine arena act rather than a nostalgia act.
The arena announcement did not come from nowhere. On June 21, the band played the main stage at TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow, which fans and outlets described as a preview of bigger plans for 2027. Just five days later, on June 26, they headlined Crystal Palace Park in London in front of 25,000 fans, performing *Tourist History* in full alongside co-headliner The Vaccines.
The band also played sold-out dates in Cork and Dublin on June 23 and 24. The collective statement from the group said: "It's been over seven years since we've done a UK and Ireland tour. Each and every one of these cities holds a special place in our hearts... now it's time for the big ones. We can't wait," Live4ever reported.
The UK and Ireland dates are just one part of a much larger global push. The band headlines Madison Square Garden in New York City on September 27, 2026. Arena dates in Australia and New Zealand follow in November 2026, with additional European shows planned for January and February 2027, running alongside the UK and Ireland leg.
Fan presales begin July 1 at 9am BST via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. General sale opens July 3 at the same time. Mastercard holders get preferred access from July 3, Clash Music noted. With five major arenas and over 75,000 total tickets on offer, this is the band's most ambitious domestic campaign in over a decade.
