TOWIE's Jake Hall Remembered at Funeral Following Tragic Accidental Death in Majorca

In Missi Beqiri’s posted tribute, she wrote: “There was no way you were ever supposed to go. My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's.” She added that his “constant mission to stop me from taking naps still makes me smile.”
Spanish investigators said the incident showed “no criminal activity,” and legal sources cited by media reported the death “appeared to be entirely accidental.”
Timeline details reported by outlets: Hall was believed to have arrived in Majorca on May 5, gone on a night out in Palma, then returned to the villa where the group “partied and played music into the morning,” before the crash occurred at about 7.15am when neighbors heard a loud crash and then “glass shattering.”
Police were called to the Santa Margalida address at 7:30am local time, according to a report citing a source who said witnesses told investigators Hall had been partying all night and decided to continue the night at the rental property.
Media reported that Hall had run a menswear brand called “By Jake Hall,” and that an autopsy took place in Palma, but “the results of the tests will not be made public.”
Hundreds of mourners gathered at St Mary the Virgin church in Wanstead, east London, on Friday to say goodbye to Jake Hall, the Only Way Is Essex star who died aged 35 in Majorca last month. OK! Magazine reported that a large screen was erected outside the church to accommodate the overflow crowd. His two exes, Chloe Lewis and Misse Beqiri, stood among the mourners — united in grief over a man who had been a central figure in both their lives.
Hall died on May 6 after running through a single-glazed glass door at a rental villa in Santa Margalida, Majorca, at around 7:15am. The Guardia Civil said the death "appears to be entirely accidental" with "no criminal activity" at the scene, Metro reported.
Chloe Lewis, Hall's on-off partner of ten years, led the mourners into the service. HELLO! reported she said: "I'm so sorry I couldn't have saved you." The pair had dated since they were teenagers. Lewis was a central figure in Hall's years on TOWIE.
Misse Beqiri, the Swedish model and mother of Hall's eight-year-old daughter River, shared a tribute on the day of the funeral. "There was no way you were ever supposed to go," she wrote, according to Yahoo News. "My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter's." She also recalled his "constant mission to stop me from taking naps." Pallbearers included Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani.
The congregation was packed with faces from British celebrity circles. TOWIE cast members including James "Arg" Argent, Tommy Mallet, Georgia Kousoulou, Lydia Bright, Demi Sims, and Liam "Gatsby" Blackwell all attended, Manchester Evening News reported. Boxer Derek Chisora was also present.
The Beckham family connection ran deep. Sandra Beckham, David Beckham's mother, and Joanne Beckham, his sister, were both at the service, according to Daily Star. Hall had worked as David Beckham's personal stylist after stepping back from reality TV, which explains the family's close ties to him.
Hall arrived in Majorca on May 5, according to the live research timeline. That evening, he and a group of six others went out in Palma. They returned to a £200-a-night rental villa in Santa Margalida and "partied and played music into the morning," with neighbors reporting noise loud enough to "make walls vibrate," the Majorca Daily Bulletin reported.
At around 7:15am, neighbors heard a loud crash followed by glass shattering. Police were called at 7:30am and found Hall unresponsive in a pool of blood with severe head and chest injuries. An autopsy was carried out in Palma on May 8, but Sur in English reported the results "will not be made public." Investigators privately cited a fatal chest injury from a glass shard as the cause of death.
Hall appeared on TOWIE from Series 14 through Series 17, between 2015 and 2016. After leaving the show, he moved into fashion. He founded Prévu Studio in 2015, which was later sold to JD Sports and then acquired by Frasers Group before going into administration in 2023. His follow-up label, By Jake Hall, launched in 2024 but entered liquidation in late 2025, Fashion United reported.
In the final chapter of his life, Hall had shifted toward art. He created sculptures and paintings in Majorca and had recently unveiled a beachfront sculpture at NU Mallorca beach club, Hello! reported. He had also released a single with the band Yours. Tributes from figures like DJ Fat Tony described him as a man of "captivating light" who was in the middle of a creative reinvention when he died.
