Palantir Names Nebius Sovereign AI Infrastructure Partner

Palantir CEO Alex Karp said Nebius infrastructure will enable customers to run their own AI models under conditions they control: “Our ontology and their infrastructure will undergird the sovereignty our partners are demanding.”
Palantir said Nebius was selected because it was built specifically for AI workloads, with its infrastructure and software designed together rather than adapted from general-purpose computing systems.
Palantir described its Sovereign AI Operating System as combining AIP, Ontology, Foundry and Apollo to provide authorization and isolation, allowing organizations to train models on proprietary data while retaining control of their compute, models and data.
The partnership combines Palantir’s enterprise software platform with Nebius’s computing infrastructure, creating an integrated offering intended to give corporate customers both the software and computational resources needed to deploy AI.
Palantir Technologies named Nebius Group as its preferred sovereign AI infrastructure partner, a move that lets enterprise customers run their own AI models while keeping full control of their data, compute, and systems Benzinga. Sovereign AI lets organizations keep complete control over their AI models and the data used to train them AOL. Under this partnership, companies can train AI on sensitive or proprietary information without it ever leaving their own systems. The partnership arrives as companies race to secure reliable GPU capacity for AI models AOL. Public cloud providers struggle to meet surging demand, creating an opening for specialized players like Nebius. Palantir's move signals confidence that enterprise customers will pay a premium for complete data sovereignty. Nebius's revenue has already surged, and the deal positions the company as a key player in the shift away from hyperscalers toward dedicated, sovereign infrastructure AOL.
