The integration goes beyond individual units. Residents will also be able to check visitor history, find their parked car, and tap into outside life services, all through the same platform. LG and GS describe this as a "hyper-personalized" living experience built around each resident's daily patterns.
July Deal Builds on April Robot-Friendly Apartment Agreement
This is not the first time the two companies have worked together. Back in April, LG and GS signed an earlier deal focused on robot-friendly apartment design. That agreement set standards for how buildings should be built so robots can move through them easily, according to Seoul Economic Daily.
The July MOU adds AI Home to that foundation. LG CLOi robots, along with autonomous serving and delivery robots, are already planned for Xi complexes. The two companies are now building toward a single, seamless system where AI, robots, and residential infrastructure all work together.

For LG Electronics, the partnership is a direct push into the business-to-business AI home market.
