Experience Disneyland Evenings: $59 Limited-Time Ticket Unlocks Nighttime Magic and New Attractions

Soarin’ Across America debuts at Disney California Adventure on July 2, 2026, as part of the Evening Ticket experience, giving guests access to the new ride version during their one-evening visit.
Nighttime entertainment line-up for the Evening Ticket includes Disneyland’s Paint the Night parade and Wondrous Journeys fireworks, plus World of Color – Happiness nightly at Disney California Adventure, highlighting the after-dark magic tied to the resort’s 70th Celebration.
The final day of Evening Ticket availability falls just before the Imagine Magic Key summer blockout period ends, underscoring how Magic Key calendars affect after-hours options for passholders.
Evening Ticket sales began earlier, with the launch noted as starting on June 30, 2026, offering a low-cost entry option for a few evening hours rather than a full park day.
Magic Key holders can access exclusive Downtown Disney dining discounts and new menu items from July 6–July 31, including items like Purple Fusion Cocktail and Parkside Access Latte at participating venues such as Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes and Vista Parkside Market.
Disneyland Resort launched a $59 Evening Ticket on June 30, 2026, giving guests a low-cost way to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure for a single evening this summer. The deal is available Sundays through Wednesdays from July 12 to August 5, 2026, and is valid for all guests ages 3 and up, according to Mouse Planet.
The ticket lets guests skip the full-day price — which starts at $104 — and instead catch the parks' nighttime shows, parades, and fireworks at a fraction of the cost. Inside the Magic reports that guests enter Disney California Adventure at 5:00 PM and Disneyland Park at 7:00 PM, with access through park closing.
The evening lineup is built around Disneyland's 70th Celebration. At Disneyland Park, guests can catch the *Paint the Night* parade, which uses more than 1 million LED lights, and the *Wondrous Journeys* fireworks show. At Disney California Adventure, *World of Color – Happiness* runs nightly, according to Undercover Tourist.
The timing is no accident. July 2, 2026 marks the West Coast debut of *Soarin' Across America* at Disney California Adventure, replacing the longtime *Soarin' Over California*. Disney Tourist Blog noted that Evening Ticket holders arriving at 5:00 PM can experience the new ride, which creative director Tom Fitzgerald described as "a celebratory flight from sea to shining sea."
At $59, this is one of the lowest Disneyland entry prices in recent memory. But the windows are short — roughly five to seven hours depending on which park you choose. Disney Tourist Blog analysts estimate guests pay about $10 to $12 per hour, which is similar to the hourly rate of a full-day ticket, just at a much lower upfront cost.
Not everyone is sold on the idea. Russell Meyer of Theme Park Insider called the promotion "unusual," warning that adding evening arrivals to already-crowded parks during peak summer could make the experience "insufferable" for full-day guests. Reservations are still required in addition to purchasing the ticket, so guests must plan ahead.
Alongside the Evening Ticket launch, Disneyland announced exclusive dining perks for Magic Key passholders at Downtown Disney. Running July 6 through July 31, the offers include a Purple Fusion Cocktail at Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes and a Parkside Access Latte at Vista Parkside Market, according to Mickey Visit.
Magic Key holders also get a 23% discount at Wetzel's Pretzels and a free bowling card at Splitsville with any food or drink purchase, per Theme Park IQ. These perks are gated behind Magic Key verification, creating a separate tier of benefits for passholders beyond what the $59 ticket alone provides.
The Evening Ticket fills a specific gap in the Magic Key calendar. Lower-tier Imagine and Enchant Keys are blocked out for most of July, locking many local passholders out of the parks during peak summer. The $59 ticket gives those guests — and budget-conscious visitors — an affordable back door into the 70th Celebration, according to Laughing Place.
The promotion ends on August 5, just days before Halloween Time preparations begin. The separately ticketed Oogie Boogie Bash kicks off August 18, per Undercover Tourist. Guests can buy up to eight Evening Tickets per transaction. The 70th Celebration itself is scheduled to wrap up on August 9, 2026.
