Global X Rare Earth ETF Profit Jumps to AUD$2.27 Million

Global X’s Rare Earth and Critical Metals ETF reported a profit of A$2.273 million for the year ended June 30, 2026, up from A$319,000 a year earlier, and paid or declared A$1.012 million in distributions. Separately, Global X announced estimated distributions for 12 other ETFs for the period ending September 30, 2026; amounts vary by fund, with payment scheduled for October 19. Investors eligible for the distribution reinvestment plan must submit elections by 5 p.m. AEST on October 1, ahead of the October 2 ex-distribution date and October 5 record date.
The Rare Earth and Critical Metals ETF seeks to track the BITA Rare Earth and Critical Metals Index before fees and expenses by holding the index constituents in proportions close to their index weights.
The ETF began operations on October 24, 2022, and its assets are held in segregated accounts with HSBC’s Sydney Branch as custodian.
The annual report says the fund had no employees and no significant changes in its state of affairs during the year ended June 30, 2026. It also says the distribution declared on June 30 was paid to eligible unitholders on July 16.
Among the September-quarter estimates, Global X Australia 300 ETF (A300) had the largest listed estimated distribution at 44.319691 cents per unit; Global X Russell 2000 ETF (RSSL) had the smallest, at 1.433429 cents per unit.
