CleanTech Vanadium Mining Closes First Tranche of Private Placement Raising $298,500

CleanTech Vanadium Mining Corp. (TSXV: CTV) has closed the first part of a fundraising round, bringing in $298,500 in gross proceeds Seaforth Huron Expositor. The company sold 2,985,000 units at $0.10 each to fund general corporate operations.
CleanTech sold 2,985,000 units in a non-brokered private placement, meaning the company handled the sale directly without a broker Pincher Creek Echo. Each unit cost investors $0.10. The money will go toward general corporate needs and won't require special TSX Venture Exchange approval.
An officer and director of CleanTech bought 800,000 units for $80,000, which counts as a related-party transaction under securities rules Sault Star. This type of transaction requires extra disclosure to protect minority shareholders from potential conflicts of interest.
All shares issued in this first tranche cannot be sold until December 26, 2026, according to Recorder. This regulatory hold period protects the market from sudden share dumps. CleanTech still plans a final tranche closing by September 10, 2025, pending regulatory approval.
