Axil Brands Reports Record Q4 Revenue Growth as Distribution Expands to 6,000 Stores

Q4 EPS of $0.18 beat consensus by 12.5% (est. $0.16), while net revenues of $8.56 million missed the consensus by about 9.8% (est. $9.50 million).
Operating leverage improved even as expenses rose overall: income from operations rose to about $1.45 million, while operating expensesas a percentage of net revenues declined to 55.1% from 69.2%.
Walmart expansion details: the MX PRO and MX Passive hearing protection models were rolled out across roughly 1,250 Walmart locations nationwide.
Footprint growth: the company estimates total store count expanded to approximately 6,000 locations across mass, specialty and military channels, up from about 1,800 at the prior fiscal year-end.
Product launches and channel expansion: GSX 3.0 and XCOR Pro were introduced to Sportsman's Warehouse across about 70 specialty locations (plus online); MX II Series earmuffs with SonicShieldX technology were launched, along with the AXIL CRX in-ear protection; full product line began appearing at U.S. Marine Corps Exchange locations in early fiscal 2027.
AXIL Brands posted record quarterly revenue of $8.56 million for Q4 fiscal 2026, a 48.9% jump from the same period a year ago, according to TradingView. The consumer hearing protection company also reported net income of $1.46 million and adjusted earnings per share of $0.18, beating analyst estimates by 12.5%.
The strong quarter capped a full fiscal year in which net revenues climbed 17.5% to $30.8 million, per TradingView. AXIL ended the period with $4.46 million in cash and no outstanding debt, giving it a clean balance sheet heading into fiscal 2027.
AXIL's retail footprint exploded during the fiscal year. The company expanded from roughly 1,800 store locations at the prior fiscal year-end to approximately 6,000 locations across mass, specialty, and military channels, according to TradingView. That is more than a threefold increase in just one year.
The biggest single move was into Walmart. AXIL rolled out its MX PRO and MX Passive hearing protection models across about 1,250 Walmart locations nationwide. The company also launched its full product line at U.S. Marine Corps Exchange locations early in fiscal 2027, adding a military sales channel to its growing retail base.
AXIL's gross profit rose to $6.17 million in Q4, delivering a 72.0% gross margin. That is a high margin for a consumer products company. It means AXIL keeps $0.72 of every dollar in revenue after covering the cost of making its products.
Operating leverage also improved sharply. Income from operations reached about $1.45 million for the quarter. Operating expenses as a share of net revenues fell to 55.1%, down from 69.2% in the same quarter a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA — a measure of core operating profit — came in at $1.74 million, or 20.3% of net revenues.
The quarter was a mixed bag against Wall Street expectations. AXIL's adjusted EPS of $0.18 beat the analyst consensus of $0.16 by 12.5%, according to ScanX Trade. However, net revenues of $8.56 million missed the consensus estimate of $9.50 million by about 9.8%.
That revenue miss is worth watching. AXIL is growing fast, but analysts expected even faster growth. The company will need its new Walmart and military channel partnerships to drive stronger top-line numbers in fiscal 2027 to close that gap.
AXIL launched several new products to fuel its channel expansion. The GSX 3.0 and XCOR Pro electronic hearing devices landed at Sportsman's Warehouse across about 70 specialty locations, plus online. The company also introduced the MX II Series earmuffs, which feature its new SonicShieldX noise-blocking technology, according to Market Screener.
A new in-ear option, the AXIL CRX, also joined the lineup. The product push matters because AXIL needs fresh items to justify shelf space at large retailers like Walmart. More products per store means higher revenue per location — a key lever for growth as the store count scales toward and beyond 6,000.
