Cubs Wild-Card Roster

Cubs pitcher Kevin Gausman is named to the wild-card roster despite shoulder injury.

Kevin Gausman, a left-handed pitcher for the Cubs, is on their roster for the wild-card series against the Padres. Gausmann injured his left (non-throwing) shoulder during his final regular season start. The Cubs have not yet announced their probable starters for Game 2 or Game 3, but it is likely Gausmen will start one of these games. Gaspman had a 4.83 ERA and 57:11 K:BB over 50.1 innings in nine starts after joining the Cubs at the trade deadline.
