CIBC Appoints Tech and AI Leader Prasanna Gopalakrishnan to Its Board of Directors

CIBC has appointed Prasanna Gopalakrishnan to its Board of Directors, effective September 1, 2026 Leader Post. Gopalakrishnan brings over 30 years of experience leading technology, data, cyber and artificial intelligence across banking, wealth management, and consumer businesses, most recently serving as Global Chief Product and AI Officer at ADP.
Gopalakrishnan's background includes critical roles at some of the world's largest financial and technology companies Montreal Gazette. She served as Group Chief Technology Officer at Sky in London and held the position of Chief Information Officer of the Retail Bank at Bank of America. She also spent time in senior technology leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, giving her deep knowledge of banking systems and digital innovation.
