Montana Handyman Company Secures Federal Trademark Protection for Nationwide Operations

Handy-Remodeler LLC, a remodeling and handyman company in Columbia Falls, Montana, has received federal trademark registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its company name, slogan and logo. All three applications were approved, giving the company exclusive nationwide rights to the Handy-Remodgeeler brand. The registration extends protection across all 50 states and permits use of the registered trademark symbol. Owner T.J. Ward, who began his contracting career in 1980, pursued federal registration rather than the state-level registration common among small contractors and consulted an intellectual property attorney.
