PR Newswire Amplify Expands Content Creation Support to Seven Languages

PR Newswire has expanded its Amplify™ platform to support Campaign & Content Creation in seven languages, the company announced June 8, 2026. Public relations and marketing teams can now generate press releases, blog posts, and media pitches in English (US and UK), French (CA and FR), German, Spanish, and Portuguese — all within minutes, according to PR Newswire.
The move targets organizations running campaigns across the Americas and Europe. It is designed to let teams produce consistent, brand-aligned content without waiting 24 to 48 hours for outside translation agencies, Newswire.ca reports.
Before this update, global PR teams often sent copy to third-party translators. That process took one to two days and frequently produced what PR Newswire calls a "fragmented brand voice" across regions. Now, Amplify generates native-language content directly inside the platform, according to PR Newswire.
The seven languages were chosen to cover high-revenue markets. French (CA) and English (UK) are listed separately, signaling that regional dialect differences matter — especially as AI search tools use those nuances to judge a source's authority, Yahoo Finance notes.
This launch is part of a broader strategy shift. In April 2026, PR Newswire added an AEO & GEO Brand Report to Amplify. AEO stands for Answer Engine Optimization — tracking how AI tools like chatbots cite your brand, not just how many people click your link. Chief Product Officer Jeff Hicks put it plainly: "Visibility is no longer about clicks — it's about being cited as a trusted source," according to PR Newswire.
The multilingual expansion feeds directly into that goal. A brand not cited by AI models in German or Portuguese effectively does not show up in those markets' conversational search results. PR Newswire's own research found that 91% of PR professionals now use AI in their daily workflows, Newswire.ca reports.
The business case for the expansion is clear. AI translation tools already had a 49% uptake rate among Brazilian PR firms as of 2024. Teams using AI writing tools report a 30% drop in content production costs, according to industry data cited by PR Newswire UK.
Still, not everyone is ready to move at AI speed. Analyst Jon Amar warns of an "agility gap" — only 14% of ground-level employees feel their organizations can act fast enough to use these tools without getting stuck in slow internal approval processes. The platform can create content in minutes, but human sign-off chains may cancel that advantage out.
The global PR industry is projected to grow from $106.63 billion in 2025 to $160.54 billion by 2031. Platforms like Amplify are built to capture a large share of that growth by putting campaign planning, content creation, and distribution in one place, Yahoo Finance notes.
PR Newswire says teams can still send final drafts to "trusted translation services" for a human review. But the creation phase — the brainstorming, drafting, and formatting — is now AI-first. Traditional translation agencies may find their role shrinking to proofreading rather than producing.
