Tres detenidos en Ceuta tras agredir a un agente fuera de servicio

Three men were arrested in Ceuta after attacking and attempting to rob an off-duty Civil Guard officer. La Provincia reports the aggressors demanded money from the agent, and when he refused, they repeatedly beat him with punches to the face and kicks before fleeing toward the port area.
The incident unfolded when three individuals confronted the off-duty officer and made a direct demand for money. According to La Provincia, the officer's refusal to comply triggered an immediate violent response from the attackers. The assailants launched a coordinated assault using fists and feet as weapons.
After the beating, the three suspects quickly abandoned the scene. Levante-EMV reports they fled in the direction of the port zone in Ceuta. Police launched a pursuit operation that ultimately led to their apprehension and arrest at the location.
This incident highlights ongoing security concerns in Ceuta, Spain's North African enclave. El Periódico notes that attacks on off-duty officers occur despite their lack of uniform or badge at the time. The case demonstrates how perpetrators may target individuals regardless of their law enforcement status.
