Clearbridge Investments Reduces Holdings in Five Large-Cap Stocks Amid Varied Analyst and Investor Sentiment

Clearbridge Investments LLC disclosed in recent SEC filings that it reduced stakes in multiple large-cap stocks, including Insulet, Autodesk, Enbridge, Home Depot, and Vertiv, while other institutions simultaneously adjusted their own positions. For Insulet, Clearbridge cut its holding by 5.4% to 1,387,527 shares worth about $394.4 million, and at least one analyst lowered its price target even as others maintained positive stances. For Insulet, analyst Robert W. Baird cut its price target sharply from $360 to $248 (while other analysts remained constructive, including RBC reaffirming an “outperform” rating with a $280 price target).
For Autodesk, other institutions were actively adding alongside Clearbridge’s trim: Norges Bank bought a new stake valued at about $867.48 million, and Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management increased its holding by 44,345.8% to 2,280,515 shares (about $675.06 million).
For Enbridge, the analyst landscape included a notable rating change: Raymond James upgraded the stock to a “moderate buy” (dated Feb. 17), while RBC boosted its price target from $76 to $79 and reiterated an “outperform” rating; seven analysts rate it Buy and six rate it Hold.
For Vertiv, new coverage and target raises stood out: Loop Capital initiated coverage with a “buy” rating and a $500 price objective, Mizuho set a $380 target, and Morgan Stanley raised its target price from $285 to $350.
