No Man’s Sky Releases Major Cosmos Space Overhaul

Players can build and decorate their own space stations both internally and externally, turning them into themed clubhouses that friends can visit, according to Hello Games.
Cosmos expands alliances into a competitive system: players can cooperate on a networked empire of stations and compete on leaderboards for the largest, richest or most prominent alliance.
The new space-hulk salvage system uses a gravity gun to pull metal from wrecks and a ship-mounted tractor beam to collect it, while Hello Games says the hulks showcase its new volumetric-lighting technology.
The “Our Journey Continues!” expedition is structured as a museum-like retrospective: it unlocks features in the order they were introduced and includes a spacelog with development facts and commentary from the developers.
