Chinese battery maker REPT BATTERO is heading to Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich on June 23–25, bringing its newest battery technology and a fresh partnership with football giant Inter Milan. The company named REPT BATTERO its Global Official Battery and Energy Storage Partner through the 2027/28 season, according to PR Newswire.
The announcement comes on the back of a strong 2025. REPT BATTERO posted revenue of roughly €3.1 billion — up 36.7% year on year — and recorded its first-ever full-year net profit of approximately €87 million, according to PR Newswire.
Energy Storage Becomes REPT BATTERO's Biggest Growth Engine
Energy storage is now the company's primary moneymaker. In 2025, that segment generated roughly €1.7 billion in revenue — an 86.8% jump from the year before. Total battery shipments hit 82.7 GWh, up 89.2% year on year, according to PR Newswire.
That growth has pushed energy storage revenue past REPT BATTERO's power battery — or EV — business for the first time. The company is now firmly focused on utility-scale and home storage projects rather than just supplying carmakers. At Intersolar Europe, REPT BATTERO plans to show off two headline products. The first is a 320 Ah sodium-ion cell with a cycle life of over 20,000 charges. It can operate in extreme temperatures — from -50°C to 60°C — making it well-suited for Europe's varied climates, according to PR Newswire.
The second is an 85 Ah AIDC cell built for AI data centers. It supports 10C continuous discharge and boasts a cycle life of over 60,000 charges. Sodium-ion technology cuts reliance on lithium, which could lower costs for long-duration storage projects across Europe, according to PR Newswire.
