Bunker Hill and Silver47 Merge to Create U.S. Silver and Minerals Champion

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. and Silver47 Exploration Corp. have announced a merger to create what they call a 'Made in America' U.S. silver and critical minerals company Montreal Gazette. The deal, finalized with a definitive arrangement agreement on August 20, 2026, will see Bunker Hill acquire all outstanding shares of Silver47 through a plan of arrangement. The combined company plans to change its name to 'Bunkerhill Silver Corp.' and stay listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Silver47 shareholders will receive consideration worth approximately US$0.67 per share, based on Bunker Hill's closing price on August 20 Montreal Gazette. After the merger closes, existing Bunker Hill shareholders are expected to own about 57% of the combined company. Silver47 shareholders will hold the remaining 43% on a basic, fully-diluted basis.
The merger aims to accelerate growth in U.S.-based operations and strengthen the company's position in critical minerals Woodstock Sentinel-Review. Both companies are positioning the combined entity as a domestic producer of silver and other minerals needed for energy and technology. The name change to Bunkerhill Silver Corp. reflects this commitment to American mining operations.
The combined company will continue trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under a new ticker symbol Daily Guardian. Both companies' shareholders must approve the merger at their respective meetings. Regulatory approval is expected before the deal closes later in 2026.
