Lindian Resources partners with Carester to develop a rare earth facility in Kazakhstan.

Lindian Resources Limited (ASX: LIN) has partnered with Carester SAS (Carester), a leading global rare earth processing and separation specialist, for the development of an Oxide Separation Facility. Carester will advance a Definitive Feasibility Study for a new 8,000 tonne per annum REO nameplate capacity solvent extraction and oxide separation facility at Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan, for completion in Q4 2026. Lindian and Carester have also signed a long-term Offtake Agreement for up to 20 years for both a Mixed Heavy Rare Earths compound (SEGH) and right of first refusal (RoFR) for Mixed Heavy Electronic Earths Carbonate. MHREC will be supplied from Lindian's MREC Processing Facility in Kazakhstan. The deal includes a long term offtake agreement for 70% SEGH volumes (plus MHREC RoFR), an initial 10-year term with two further five-year extension options, and a binding Offtake agreement to purchase 70% of SEGGH production and RoFR over 70% from SARECO.
