QpiAI Open-Sources Quantum SDK to Empower Global Developers for Software Creation

QpiAI, a quantum computing company based in Bengaluru, India, has released its Quantum SDK as open-source software, giving developers worldwide free access to tools for building and running quantum algorithms. Business Wire reported the release connects users directly to QpiAI's 8-qubit and 25-qubit quantum computers through its QpiAI-QCloud platform.
The move is designed to lower the barrier to quantum software development globally. Developers, researchers, startups, and universities can now access the SDK at no cost, according to AP News.
The QpiAI Quantum SDK is built on Python, a widely used programming language. It lets users create quantum circuits, run simulations, and develop quantum algorithms. Developers can also connect their work directly to real quantum hardware via QpiAI-QCloud, the company's cloud platform.
The SDK supports the full development workflow — from writing code to running it on an actual quantum computer. Yahoo Finance noted it is designed for use in university programs, research groups, developer communities, hackathons, and quantum application labs.
Institutions that adopt the SDK early will be eligible to join the QpiAI Academic & Innovation Network. Rutland Herald reported that members get preferential commercial terms on QpiAI QCloud institutional packages — meaning cheaper access to the company's quantum computing infrastructure.
