Fumito Ueda’s long-awaited next game, previously known as Project Robot, has been officially titled gen ATLAS, revealed with a gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026. Developed by genDESIGN and published by Epic Games Publishing, the single-player sci-fi action-adventure is set for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Epic Games Store, with no release date announced. The story begins with the protagonist awakening alone on an abandoned planet filled with colossal architecture and remnants of an unknown civilization. As players explore the vast open world, they encounter a giant robot that enables new interactions and access to previously unreachable areas, seemingly tying into the game’s broader mystery.
