Koei Tecmo Reveals Attack on Titan 3, Bringing Series Finale to PS5, Switch 2, and PC.

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force announced Attack on Titan 3, the next installment in their anime-based action series, launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The game is positioned as a “culmination” that lets players experience the story from the Survey Corps’ beginnings all the way through the franchise’s conclusion, including a focus on the anime’s final seasons. Players will be able to battle the Nine Titans for the first time in the series, with new story content plus upgrades to the omni-directional mobility gear system aimed at more intense, acrobatic fights. No release date was provided, but the companies said more details will arrive via an official livestream on July 1, 2026 featuring special guests Yui Ishikawa and Shiori Mikami. The reveal trailer debuted at Summer Game Fest 2026 and showcased climactic moments from the final arc, while Koei Tecmo America also plans an early look at Anime Expo 2026.
The reveal trailer shown at Summer Game Fest 2026 specifically highlighted “the War Hammer Titan battle in Marley,” “Levi’s confrontation with the Beast Titan,” and “the final battle against the Rumbling.”
Koei Tecmo and Omega Force said Attack on Titan 3 is a direct continuation of the previous game—Attack on Titan 2 covered the anime through Season 2, while Attack on Titan 3 extends the narrative to the anime’s dramatic conclusion.
Koei Tecmo America’s Games Press release specifies additional “where to watch/see it” details for Anime Expo 2026: the event runs July 2–5 in Los Angeles, and “the latest trailer will be shown at the exhibitor booth for AmiAmi,” described as one of Japan’s largest online hobby retailers.
The Games Press materials also clarify development/publishing and storefront format: the game is “in development” for PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and “PC Windows via Steam.”
