Treasure AI Recognized as a Leader in IDC MarketScape for AI-Enabled Customer Data Platforms

Treasure AI has earned a rare double distinction: the company was named a Leader for both B2C and B2B users in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide AI-Enabled Customer Data Platforms, according to Financial Post. The recognition makes Treasure AI one of the few vendors to hold a Leader position across both market segments in the same evaluation cycle.
The IDC MarketScape assessed vendors on their ability to unify customer data, power AI-driven workflows, and deliver personalized engagement at scale, Montreal Gazette reported. Treasure AI's core product, the Treasure Data Intelligent Customer Data Platform (TD ICDP), sits at the center of the company's winning formula.
The TD ICDP pulls together three types of data: first-party data a brand collects directly, anonymous browsing data, and off-platform data from outside sources. It then merges all of it into a single, identity-resolved customer profile. That means a brand can recognize the same customer across different devices, channels, and touchpoints.
Those unified profiles feed directly into AI agents — software tools that act and make decisions on their own. According to Financial Post, the combination of Treasure AI's Intelligent CDP and AI agents allows brands to automate complex marketing and customer engagement workflows without manual intervention.
IDC did not give Treasure AI a generic thumbs-up. The firm called out four specific capabilities as standout strengths. First, a hybrid deployment model, meaning customers can run the platform in the cloud or on their own servers. Second, AI agent-based workflow automation. Third, a shared customer model that lets different teams work from the same data. Fourth, contextual real-time orchestration — the ability to act on customer signals the moment they happen, Daily Herald Tribune reported.
For the B2B evaluation specifically, IDC also flagged Treasure AI's account-centric data model as a key strength. In B2B sales, companies sell to other businesses — not individual consumers — so tracking account-level behavior matters as much as tracking individual contacts. IDC also cited predictive scoring and artificial intelligence as additional strengths in the B2B segment, according to Brantford Expositor.
B2C and B2B customer data platforms solve very different problems. B2C platforms handle millions of individual consumers, prioritizing speed, personalization, and loyalty. B2B platforms track companies, buying committees, and long sales cycles. Most vendors are built for one or the other. Landing a Leader position in both is uncommon, Stratford Beacon Herald noted.
The IDC MarketScape is one of the most widely cited vendor evaluation frameworks in the technology industry. A Leader ranking signals that a vendor scores well on both current capabilities and future strategy — not just one or the other. Being placed in the Leader category for two separate evaluations in the same report cycle carries significant weight with enterprise buyers.
For companies shopping for a customer data platform right now, the IDC ranking gives Treasure AI a credibility signal in both directions. A retailer targeting millions of shoppers and a software firm selling to large enterprise accounts can both point to independent validation of the platform, The Crag and Canyon reported.
The broader CDP market is shifting fast. Brands are under pressure to use first-party data as third-party cookies disappear. At the same time, AI agents are moving from experimental tools to core parts of marketing infrastructure. Treasure AI's positioning — identity resolution plus AI-native workflows — targets both of those pressures directly, according to PR Record Gazette.
