Chery Energy Debuts New Smart Charging Ecosystem for European Commercial Vehicles at IAA Transportation

Chery Energy (Anhui Chery Energy Ecological Technology Co., Ltd.) debuted two new products at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany, unveiling the V2G Charging Pile and the Energy Cube for the European market. The company also announced the launch of its “Cherry Energy European Partner & Pilot City Network” initiative. The Energy Cube combines solar power generation, energy storage and charging in a single unit, storing electricity during the day and charging commercial vehicles at night. The V2P ChargingPile supports bidirectional charging and discharging, enabling fleets to optimise energy costs by leveraging peak and off-peak tariff differentials and participating in grid peak shaving and valley filling. The megawatt-class ammonia-fuelled SOFC power-generation solution was also showcased for long-haul logistics hubs, ports, mining sites and remote charging stations where grid coverage is insufficient. CheryEnergy plans to collaborate with local European partners to advance the large-scale deployment of energy infrastructure across Europe.
